A Biblical Roman Handled Juglet from the Holy Land, 100BCE-300AD. Of a nice broad shouldered form with wonderful detail and trace glazing. Considered a ungentarium this was used for holding scented oils or perhaps medicine.
Condition: Very nice, one small chip on the shoulder as visible in the photos. Trace glazing apparent. Comes on a custom lucite stand.
