Prince Siddhartha leaving the palace toward great Renunciation. Mounted on  his horse Kantaka, followed by Chandaka, he greets the figure of Māra, the temptor or an appearance of the god Indra. 

4.75” tall x 5” wide x 2” deep x 1.5” deep. 

This beautiful  piece stands securely upright though a corner of its base is fragmented - as pictured.
