A very fine antique bronze statue of Vajrasattva, the Bodhisattva of purification. This sitting Vajrasattva is shown holding the dorje and bell in hand, excellent details around the head and neck.
This wonderful 1930s bronze is from Patan, Nepal and would look excellent on an altar or shrine, tabletop, desk, etc. A great gift for collectors, or used as a meditation piece. A fairly small piece making it easy to pack into a suitcase for travel.
3" wide at the base, 5 1/4" tall from base to tip of crown.
