A Large and rare antique Mani singing bowl from Tibet estimated at 200 years old. Also known as an Elephant Bowl, due to the shape. Well pitted and patinaed interior and exterior from age.
Features a narrow wall with a very thick lip. Produces harmonic overtones, unique only to antique bowls. Mani bowls produce a louder sound with a higher piercing tone that wouldn't be expected from the size. Wooden striker included.
