A very rare antique Mani singing bowl from Tibet estimated at 200 years old. Also known as an Elephant Bowl, due to the shape. Features a narrow wall with a very thick lip. Produces harmonic overtones, unique only to antique bowls. Mani bowls produce a louder sound with a higher piercing tone that wouldn't be expected from the size. Wooden striker bound with suede included.
Please let us know if you would like a sound recording of this bowl.
